A girl's
personality can reflected from the shoe she chooses and the shoe she wears. A
shoe is an important role in our daily lives. I know people who have a whole
shelf of designer sport shoes and a shelf full of designer heels such as Jimmy
Choo and Alexander McQueen or YSL. Shoes play a big role and it finalizes our
looks for the day and the wrong pair of shoes can lead to a whole day of
disaster. For instance, basic logic tells you that you can't wear a Diane Von
Furstenberg dress with an old ugly pair of worker boots to a dinner date. It
tells a lot about that person.
A girl in Heels or stilettos shows that she has lots of confidence and is usually self aware. By wearing heels, the girl can be signaling to others that she is fine with who she is and does not need to cover up too much of her leg. Girls in heels also shows that they are slightly more feminine than to the masculine side, however some girls can make heels look really masculine and look good in them.
Flats can be usually worn all the time except for winter or your feet will turn blue. Flats/flip flop can be feminine for girls and masculine for guys, but again, you need to know how to match it with the clothes you’re wearing or you will just look really out of place. A nice summer dress with a straw hat, Chanel sunglasses and a pair of flip flop is perfect to go to the beach with.
As for sneakers, if a guy wears sneakers, well either he likes wearing them or he is someone sporty. However, on the other hand, if a girl wears a pair of sneakers, there are 3 possibilities. 1) She's going to gym, jogging or going to do some form of exercise. 2) She's skater girl. 3) Teenager. Some teenagers love wearing a pair of t shirt, denim jeans and sneakers.
And lastly, boots. Boots can describe so much about a person, a girl who wears doc martin’s boots maybe going for something vintage while wearing a black knee length boot could be because you are a Gothic, a pole dancer or a punk.
In the end, shoe plays an important role in our daily lives and should not be forsaken! Guys should seriously try something else instead of sneakers and flats all the time. A new trend is rising; apparently guys are starting to wear heels again. If you study history, during the Napoleon-French time, guys used to wear heels as a sign of nobility. Think about that. I really hope to see a change in fashion in the future.
