Please lend them a helping hand.

*****WARNING : THE IMAGES BELOW MAYBE SLIGHTLY DISTURBING FOR SOME PEOPLE.

I know this is a fashion blog but still, i want people to know what is going on around the world and yes, one day i would like to be part of the UN. While we are having expensive dinners in the fanciest restaurant, giving your girlfriend or your boyfriend expensive diamond necklaces and watches while sitting there and eating chicken puree and leaving over half drank soup because you decided today you didn't have any appetite or worst, claiming you are "fat" and refuse to it. While your refusal to eat anything at all, many starving children all over the world would want those left overs or your untouched food so that they can survive for just another day. To them, it's a never ending war to battle against death and striving to survive while we recklessly throw away food that we cannot finish and pouring away water that have not been drank yet because you say it's "dirty", if you want to know dirty, go to Cambodia and India and see what they are actually eating and drinking before opening your golden mouth! it really saddens me to see how these kids are fighting against poverty while we pay $400 for caviar while these kids doesn't even know what proper food taste like! Have you ever thought that when you are throwing away veggies that you hate to eat, these kids need them to survive! In this world, not many people are as fortunate as us, living in nice apartments, some living in giant houses or mansions playing with their iphones with their beats headphones on. Yes, i do agree that in our generation, since i'm 15 too, these things are a must, and to me, my Louis Vuitton bag is my life and Vogue is my bible, however, is it necessary to change your phone like every 3 months? Think about it, your phone is still perfectly fine but to look cool, you buy yourself another phone. Have you ever spare a thought for these kids dying from hunger, that money you use to buy your phone, you could have used it to do something beneficial for others instead of being a selfish idiot. I treat myself to luxury once in awhile, i donate my pocket money to different charity, and even a dollar could help these children. One person, a dollar, a million person, they would have a million dollar to help these kids! Whether is it to help them by sending over people to teach them life skills or to simply give them some food and money, it would make a great difference in their lives. However, i think that if we really want to help someone, giving money to charity isn't the best way to do so, if you really mean to help someone, you wouldn't help them behind a wall but in front of them, it's sincerity that counts not the quantity. Even a trip to Cambodia or India to teach them some skills can be beneficial to them and they would be happy as they would have crops to grow and to feed on when they are hungry but not many people could afford these trips because the economy now isn't that good, so giving money to charity is okay, what i said above is to those who can actually afford to travel, forget your first class seats, take the economy class and go to Cambodia or something. I really hope that you guys find something meaningful in these message, i really hope you guys can help them. Please take a look at some of these websites and see whether you want to help these children or not. http://keepachildalive.org/     http://www.worldvision.org/     http://www.savethechildren.org  If you want to sponsor some of these kids, please do read more about the websites first.
